do you beleive in what you do

I have never written or thought of writing in my life. I have been inspired by one of my friends who keeps blogging atleast once a week. I should admire his perseverance and patience in life. He blogs and sends the link to his set of friends. I never had time to read those or rather put as never interested to read them because i never beleived in it. But today i just thought i will read what this guy has written and this created interest in me to be a blogger too. So I just thought i will pour my thoughts on blogging itself and see how it is accepted by my friends and strangers.

Lot of people keep blogging. They write their experiences at professional life, incidents they see in their day to day life. Why??????

So is blogging a online diary or a cribbing place or some dump place where thoughts are always poured in? I am seriously wondering/thinking how many people blog and how frequently and who reads these? This reminds me of my child hood favorite poem "Men may come and men may go but I go on for ever ..." (quote from poem "The Brook") depicting a river stream which keeps going places whatever happens.. so do people really blog for nothing or what is that triggers interest in these set of people of who sit and spend valuable time in Blogging and why is that some countries have banned blogging? Does blogging trigger thoughts and induce tensions in society? ....... an endless list of questions.............i hope to find an answer myself some day :-)
